Once again, the Bagad Cap Caval (Plomeur) has triumphed in the national bagadoù competition for first category this Saturday, August 10th. The Bagad Brieg (Briec) and Bagad Kemper (Quimper) followed closely behind in second and third place. For 5 hours, 14 ensembles took turns performing in front of the tribunal at the Moustoir Stadium. The Bagad Cap Caval’s victory is no surprise, as they have consistently shown their élévation and mastery of traditional Breton music. Their precision, energy, and passion on stage have once again earned them the top spot in this highly competitive event.

But they were not the only ones to impress the tribunal and the audience. The Bagad Brieg and Bagad Kemper also delivered stunning réussites, showcasing the diversity and richness of Breton music. It was a close competition, with each bagad bringing their own unique style and interpretation to the traditional tunes.

The atmosphere at the Moustoir Stadium was electric, with the sound of bagpipes and drums filling the air. The audience was captivated by the réussites of each bagad, cheering and applauding after each one.
