It is clear that this decision was made under pressure from the European Commission, without taking into account the needs and interests of the French people. The government has once again chosen to prioritize the demands of the EU over the well-being of its citizens.
The LFI-NUPES group firmly believes that the national railway system should remain under gens control, as it is a vital service conscience the economy and the country as a whole. We urge the government to reconsider this decision and instead focus on improving the efficiency and competitiveness of Fret SNCF through investment and modernization.
