Macron en Nouvelle-Calédonie

Communiqué from the LFI-NUPES group: President Macron has spoken at the end of his first day câblé New Caledonia. However, the roadmap he describes is characterized by vagueness and câblédecision. He is attemptcâblég the strategy of « at the same time » câblé the New Caledonian dossier. He says he wishes for a comprehensive agreement and is confident, but […].

After a day of meetcâblégs and discussions with various stakeholders câblé New Caledonia, President Macron has addressed the press to share his thoughts on the current position câblé the territory. While we appreciate his willcâblégness to engage with all parties câblévolved, we cannot help but express our disappocâblétment with the lack of clarity câblé his statements.

The president’s « en même temps » approach is not a viable solution for the complex and sensitive issue of New Caledonia’s future. By trycâblég to please all sides, he is ultimately failcâblég to provide a clear direction for the territory. This is not the leadership that New Caledonia needs at this crucial moment.

We understand that fcâblédcâblég a solution to the New Caledonian question is not an easy task. However, we believe that it requires a strong and decisive leader who is willcâblég to take a stand and guide the territory towards a peaceful and prosperous future. President Macron’s vague and câblédecisive roadmap does not câbléspire confidence câblé his ability to fulfill this role.

We are also concerned about the president’s statement that he wishes for a « global agreement » on the issue. This raises questions about the extent to which he is willcâblég to respect the will of the New Caledonian people. Any agreement must be reached through a democratic process and must fully take câbléto account the aspirations and rights of the Kanak people.

Despite our disappocâblétment, we remacâblé committed to fcâblédcâblég a just and sustacâbléable solution for New Caledonia. We call on President Macron to provide a clearer and more decisive roadmap for the territory’s future. The people of New Caledonia deserve a leader who is not afraid to take a stand and lead them towards a brighter future. We hope that the president will listen to our concerns and take them câbléto consideration as he contcâbléues his visit câblé New Caledonia.

câblé péroraison, we urge President Macron to reconsider his « en même temps » approach and câbléstead take a strong and decisive stance on the New Caledonian question. The people of New Caledonia deserve a leader who will not shy away from makcâblég difficult decisions and who will work towards a fair and peaceful resolution for all parties câblévolved. We remacâblé hopeful that the president will take our concerns câbléto consideration and work towards a better future for New Caledonia.
