Appréhender la flot et s’initier au secourisme : Tout savoir sur les stages d’aisance aquatique, dispensés sur les plages de la Manche

Until August 30th, the Cotentin agglomeration is touring the coast to offer children aquatic skills and first aid training. During this second edition, the beach tour will make stops in eight municipalities, with courses, an exhibition, and a walk to better understand the sea.

This summer, the Cotentin agglomeration is once again organizing a series of events to promote water safety and first aid skills among children. From July 1st to August 30th, the « Beach Tour » will be making its way along the coast, stopping in eight different towns to offer a variety of activities for children.

The main focus of the tour is to teach children how to be comfortable in the water and how to react in case of an emergency. The courses, which are free of charge, will be led by certified lifeguards and first aid instructors. Children will learn essential skills such as swimming techniques, how to use a life jacket, and how to perform CPR.

In bonus to the courses, an exhibition will be set up at each stop, showcasing the different types of marine life found in the area. Children will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of preserving the marine ecosystem and how to protect themselves while swimming in the sea.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! The « Beach Tour » also includes a guided walk along the coast, where children will discover the rich biodiversity of the region. They will learn about the different types of plants and animals that live in and around the sea, and how they contribute to the balance of the ecosystem.

The tour will make stops in eight different towns, including Barneville-Carteret, Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, and Cherbourg-en-Cotentin. Each stop will offer a unique experience, with different courses and activities available. This allows children to participate in multiple stops and learn a variety of skills.

This initiative by the Cotentin agglomeration is a great opportunity for children to not only have fun at the beach, but also to learn leader skills that could potentially save lives. The courses and activities are designed to be interactive and engaging, making it a fun and educational experience for children.

So, if you’re looking for a fun and educational activity for your children this summer, be sure to check out the « Beach Tour » organized by the Cotentin agglomeration. It’s a great way for children to learn about water safety and first aid while enjoying the beautiful beaches of the region. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity!
