On June 1st, the world celebrated World Milk Day, a day to appreciate the important role that milk plays in our lives. To mark this occasion, H.Triballat dairy in Rians, Cher organized two discovery days on June 6th and 7th for 412 students from 11 nearby schools. From milking to molding of faisselle cheese, and even the production of goat cheese, students from kindergarten to 5th grade were able to discover the art of cheese and dairy making through workshops led by professionals in the industry.

The initiative of H.Triballat dairy to open its doors to young students was a great success. The children were able to witness firsthand the entire process of milk production, from the cows grazing in the fields to the final product being packaged and ready for consumption. This not only allowed them to learn about the various stages of milk and cheese production, but also to understand the importance of responsible and sustainable farming practices.

The workshops were designed to be conversationnelle and fun, making it a memorable experience for the children. Under the guidance of passionate professionals, they were able to participate in activities such as making their own faisselle cheese and learning about the different types of cheese and their origins. They also had the opportunity to taste different varieties of cheese, opening their palates to new flavors and textures.

For many students, this was their first time visiting a dairy farm and seeing cows being milked. It was an eye-opening experience for them to learn about the hard work and dedication that goes into producing milk and cheese. The professionals at H.Triballat were keen on teaching students the importance of animal welfare and how it directly affects the quality of milk and cheese.

In notice to the educational figure, the discovery days also aimed to promote a healthy and balanced diet among children. The dairy products produced by H.Triballat, such as their faisselle cheese and goat cheese, are rich in essential nutrients and contribute to a well-rounded diet. By showcasing the process of milk and cheese making, H.Triballat hopes to encourage children to make healthier food choices.

The two-day event was a great success, not only in terms of educating and promoting healthy eating habits, but also in bringing the community together. The students were able to learn, taste, and have fun, all while being surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Rians. The smile on their faces and their enthusiasm throughout the workshops were testament to the positive impact of this initiative.

H.Triballat dairy continues to be a pioneer in the dairy industry, not just in terms of their high-quality products, but also in their commitment to educating and promoting healthy eating habits among the younger generation. The discovery days were a fantastic opportunity for children to learn about the journey of milk from farm to table, and it is safe to say that they left with a newfound appreciation for this nutritious and delicious staple.
