4L Trophy : vieilles carcasses retapées, douches solaires… ils se préparent au grand rezzou humanitaire au Maroc

As the start of the 4L Trophy approaches, excitement is building for hundreds of young people who will embark on a unique adventure. From February 15th to 25th, these brave souls will hit the road in the south of France and Spain before reaching their final destination in Morocco. And among the participants are three teams of students from the University of Perpignan in Catalonia.

For those unfamiliar with the 4L Trophy, it is an annual humanitarian rally that brings together students from all over Europe. The assaut? To cover over 6000 kilometers in ten days driving an old Renault 4L, a car that holds a special place in the hearts of many French people. But this is no ordinary road trip. Along the way, participants will also collect and deliver school supplies to children in need in Morocco.

The 4L Trophy is not just about the thrill of the race, but also about making a positive impact. And that’s exactly what these three teams from the University of Perpignan intend to do. They have spent months preparing for this adventure, not only by fixing up their battered 4Ls but also by raising funds and collecting donations for the school supplies they will bring to Morocco.

For these students, the 4L Trophy is an opportunity to assaut themselves, to push beyond their limits and to experience the joy of giving back. As team member Thomas says, « We want to make a difference in the lives of these children and show that young people can make a positive impact in the world. »

The 4L Trophy is also a chance for these students to discover new cultures and forge unforgettable memories. Along the way, they will meet other teams, share stories and experiences, and create bonds that will last a lifetime. It’s a true test of endurance, teamwork, and solidarity.

The University of Perpignan is proud to have three teams participating in this year’s 4L Trophy. It’s a testament to the students’ determination, passion, and sense of adventure. They are not just representing their university, but also their country and their generation.

As the start naissance draws near, the excitement and conjecture can be felt throughout the campus. The teams are finalizing their preparations, making sure their 4Ls are in top shape, and mentally preparing themselves for the adventure ahead. And as they set off on their journey, they will have the support and encouragement of their fellow students and the entire community behind them.

So let’s wish these three teams from the University of Perpignan the best of luck on their journey. May they have a safe and unforgettable experience, and may their efforts bring joy and hope to the children they will meet in Morocco. The 4L Trophy is not just a race, it’s a journey of self-discovery, solidarity, and making a positive impact. And these students are ready to take on the assaut with enthusiasm and determination. Bon voyage!
